Trevor's interest and love of painting was formulated and encouraged as a young boy by his father. He was brought up in the small fishing town of Emsworth on Chichester Harbour. Although to date he has travelled and lived in many places including India, his love of marine subjects is very dear to his heart. Now retired and living in the idyllic village of Ramsbury in Wiltshire his art is now his full time passion. His favourite subjects are winter scenes and marine seascapes, especially the classic sailing ships of the 17th and 18th century

He exhibits regularly at The Hilliard Society, The Society of Limners and the Miniature Art Society of Florida  and is invited regularly to exhibit abroad. One of his most lasting memories was when he was working and living in India and was invited by the late Sir Edmund Hilary to exhibit in New Delhi at the New Zealand High Commission when Sir Edmund was High Commissioner.
